OUR STORY
Our Story
Since its inception, MORryde has embodied the values of hard work, ingenuity, and a can-do attitude. In 1966, as the recreational vehicle industry flourished in Elkhart, Indiana, Bob Moore, Sr. recognized an opportunity to meet a growing market need. Branching out from the family dry-cleaning business, he began manufacturing suspension systems for RV tow trailers—founding what would become MORryde.
By the 1980s, the company had established itself as an industry leader in motorhome and towable RV suspension systems. MORryde’s combination of innovative products and exceptional customer service soon led customers to seek additional capabilities in metal fabrication. True to its entrepreneurial spirit, the company embraced the challenge. With a handful of secondhand machines, MORryde launched its metal fabrication operations in the early 1990s.
Not long after, customers encouraged MORryde to expand into chassis modification and upfitting. While this represented a significant step forward, MORryde once again rose to the occasion—successfully growing into an industry leader in this market as well.

At the heart of MORryde’s culture is a customer-first mindset that has always asked, and continues to ask,
The name of the ship was the “What else can we do for you?”
